Mountain biking races for kids

Aaron took us to a mountain bike race today.  It was a long car ride to the park but once we got there we wanted to check out the sights.

We met Uncle Mikey, Aaron's good friend.
There are races for kids our age.  Jace and I want to learn how to ride a bike so we can race someday.
Boy was it a hot day!  Lisa got us some ice pops to cool off.
We got to meet Aaron's biking buddies and his team, Ohio Fat Tires, and Aunt Tina and lil' Kyle showed up before we left.  Kyle shared his toys with us.

All of us got tired fast so Aaron took us out for lunch before heading home.  The Winking Lizard was packed and loud! Lisa said it was because OSU was playing on the big TV screens.

Jace, Lisa and I feel asleep in the car on our way home.  The sun drained us of our energy!

Bedtime stories

Aaron is back from his work trip.  We were lucky tonight because he read our favorite book about trucks!

Art and Ice Cream

Jace and I are drawing pictures for our brothers Daniel and Elijah.
Lisa took us out to dinner and ice cream at Friendly's.  Yum!

Playing outside

We spent the afternoon riding our scooter down the driveway.  We are getting the hang of pushing with one foot and riding along with the other foot.
After a day of playing, we were pooped out and my brother and I fell asleep on my bed.

A family outing

Lisa and Aaron took us shopping again.  Lisa said the clothes she bought us on Thursday and Friday are still too big from us.  And she wanted to buy us more toys too.  Yay!
After we stopped for a snack at Menchies.  We love banana frozen yogurt with strawberries.
On the way home we stopped at Bradley Woods Reservation to play on the swings and take a walk on the trail.  We did not go far since the mosquitoes were out in full force.
Aaron let us chase geese on the field and Jace almost caught some.

We visited Cookie and Ken at their house then came home to have dinner and a bath.  Jace was acting up so he went into timeout and had to go sleep early.  I got to watch the end of Disney's Up.  Lisa still cried a lot.  Oh dear.

Sunday morning

Today Aaron is in charge of us.  He made us breakfast and took us outside to play with our new lawn bowling set.  Lisa slept in this morning.
We had grilled cheese sandwiches for lunch before taking a nap.

Spaghetti - ghetti

Lisa made us spaghetti with meatballs tonight.  Yummy!
We had a dance off with Lisa before bath time.  At first I was hesitant to dance but the song was fun and we all danced around the living room.  Lisa was out of breath after two songs.  We got ready for bedtime but Lisa let us watch Disney's Up first since we were good in our bath, getting into our jammies and finishing our potty business.  She cried during the movie's sad parts.  Weird.  Oh well, time to go to sleep...

More visitors

Cookie stopped by to see us.  She invited Uncle Kyle over.  He's Aaron's brother.  We showed him our room and ended up drawing with him.
We told Lisa we love eating peanuts so we had some for our afternoon snack.  Ikaika sat next to us hoping we would drop a peanut or two for him.  Lisa showed us how to put a peanut on the floor when he sits or lie down nicely.  He slobbers a lot but he's our best friend now.

Our routine is set

Another beautiful day to enjoy outside the house.  But first we had breakfast, brushed teeth, combed hair, changed clothes, and cleaned our room.  We brought our plastic balls out to play in the backyard.

After Aaron took us for a bike ride again before he went to work.

Oh goody, we are going to lunch at Wendy's for our favorite -- french fries! (And since we ate all our chicken nuggets and fries, we got to share a chocolate frosty for dessert!)

Biking and ball playing

Aaron took us biking in our bike cart before he went to work.  Lisa let us out in the front yard to catch, throw and kick our (volley) balls.  It was hot and humid so we opted to sit in the shade instead.
After dinner, bath and clean up, we watched a football game.  Lisa let us scream "let's go team!" or "get the ball!" at the top of our lungs.  That was fun!!  We also had a tickle fest -- we love getting tickled.  When it was time to go to sleep we were tired enough to fall asleep in 15 minutes.  Good night!

A morning with Aaron

Aaron made us pancakes for breakfast.  We let him know that we don't eat a lot so half a pancake was enough (instead of two each).  Lisa joined us for breakfast too.
After we played with our toys and hung out with Ala and Kaika.  We learned how to pet them nicely and not climb up on them.  We also like to play with our Mickey computer and Fischer Price telephone.

I wonder what we are doing today?

Nightie night!

Aaron's dad Rick stopped by to meet us.  We showed him our room and beds and new clothes we got from the store today.
Dinner time!  My brother Jace needs to sit in a booster seat.  Lisa said I'm a big boy so I don't need a booster.  Both my brother and I can feed ourselves with a spoon or fork but we are not sure what hand is easiest to use.  Lisa thinks I'm left-handed.
It's almost time to sleep.  We have to pick up our toys and put them away, put our dirty clothes in the laundry basket, brush teeth and comb hair every night.  Lisa reads us a book or two before we have to lay down.  We still like to sleep on the floor but if we play around in the dark, Lisa is going to put us in our beds.  Jace, stop talking to me in the dark!! (So we ended up going into our separate beds.  10 minutes later, Lisa separated Jace into the other room because he was playing in the dark.  He wasn't happy but we both fell asleep 5 minutes later.)

Beds and Bike seat

Check out our new beds -- Jace got ninja turtles and I got angry birds.
Aaron planned to take us biking after our naps but Jace didn't listen and stayed up. He went into timeout while I got to go for a spin around the block.  Jace was very upset.

Jace finally got a bike ride after his timeout was over and he promised to take a nap when he suppose to in the future.
I enjoyed the beautiful day with my brother.
